Frequently Asked Questions

What is the phone number to reach the center?

Our direct line is 740-353-1717. If it is an emergency please use the church phone line at 740-354-2516. Our director, Mary Carol McCoy, is in the office from 9:00 a.m. - 5:45 p.m.

What forms do I need to turn in each year?

Medical forms, enrollment forms and pick up lists are due yearly.

When is the tuition due?

Tuition is due as soon as you recieve billing on Monday. Please place in the tuition on Mary Carol's desk or give personally to the office manager.

Is it necessary to sign my child in and out?

We have the sign in/out paper for the safety of your child. Signing in/out helps keep record of your child's attendance. Please sign your child in and out each day. The sign in is located beside the parent information board.

Do I have to pay if my child is not here one day this week?

Tuition is due regardless of center holidays and sick days. We have a three day minimum, so as long as your child is present three days, no holding day will be charged. A half day charge will be added for the holding day fee if the three day minimum is not met. Please be advised we will work with you for an extended amount of time off due to sickness.

Do you give receipts out weekly?

A reciept is written with every payment, if you would like a copy, it is available. However, we do supply a statement at the first of the year for tax purposes, so parents do not have to keep up with every reciept during the year.

Do you really have to check Aunt Suzie's I.D?

For the safety of your child and the children at the center we require all our teachers to check the ID of all persons picking up children that are not the guardians. It is important that the pick up list be updated on a regular basis to ensure the safety of your child.

Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it.
